Description
The Startek FM220U STQC Certified Fingerprint Scanner is a high-precision, optical biometric reader engineered specifically for secure digital identity verification in India. Operating via standard plug-and-play USB connectivity, this registered device functions as a critical secure hardware gateway for real-time encryption and Aadhaar-enabled digital services.
Key Specs & Sensor Technology
- Biometric Sensor Type: Advanced CMOS optical sensor technology utilizing an integrated LED light source to cleanly illuminate the scanning window.
- Extreme Image Clarity: Captures low-distortion, high-resolution biometric templates (600 DPI profile) that preserve clean definitions even when scanning scarred, stained, smeared, or smudged fingers.
- Anti-Spoofing Architecture: Built-in high-speed live recognition and hardware-level anti-spoofing logic to safeguard authentication channels against fake or synthetic silicone finger molds.
- Cross-Platform OS Drivers: Native hardware integration and configuration libraries supporting Windows, Linux, and Android systems through regular OTG interface cables.
Core Compliance & E-Governance Utility
This device is custom-tailored to process secure public and financial sector validation pipelines across several primary applications:
- UIDAI & STQC L1 Certification: Fully certified by the Standardisation Testing and Quality Certification (STQC) and UIDAI, ensuring compliance with the stringent safety requirements mandatory for Aadhaar verification.
- Telecom Customer Onboarding: Extensively deployed by network retailers for direct SIM Card Activation and digital eKYC verification protocols.
- Aadhaar Pay & Banking (AEPS): Functions as a secure terminal for Aadhaar Enabled Payment Systems (AEPS), merchant point-of-sale processing, and micro-ATM banking.
- Government Portals: Fully compatible with direct public infrastructure initiatives, including PM-Kisan verification (via CSC centers), Digital Seva, Jeevan Pramaan digital life certificates, and national biometric attendance logs.
