Description
The Startek FM220U STQC Certified Fingerprint Scanner is a high-precision optical biometric reader engineered explicitly for secure identity verification infrastructures in India. Operating via a simple plug-and-play USB connection, this registered device serves as a vital hardware gateway for processing real-time encrypted data across Aadhaar-enabled public and banking platforms.
Key Specs & Sensor Technology
- Biometric Sensor Engine: Advanced optical CMOS capture sensor utilizing an integrated internal LED light path to evenly illuminate the thumbprint scanner glass window.
- Low Distortion Image Metrics: Captures crisp, high-resolution biometric image templates that easily pass identification validations even when processing stained, scarred, smudged, or unusually dry fingers.
- Hardware Anti-Spoofing: Implements rapid real-time verification and spoof detection mechanics to block fraudulent authorization attempts made with fake silicone or rubber finger casts.
- Cross-Platform OS Deployments: Fully functional across desktop and mobile devices, providing native driver integration for Windows, Linux, and Android operating systems over OTG conversion cords.
Core Compliance & E-Governance Utility
This device is custom-tailored to process secure public and financial sector validation pipelines across several primary applications:
- UIDAI & STQC L1 Certification: Fully certified by the Standardisation Testing and Quality Certification (STQC) body, satisfying the top-level encryption standards mandated for secure Aadhaar mapping.
- Telecom Customer Onboarding: Extensively deployed by network retailers for immediate SIM Card Activation and digital eKYC verification protocols.
- Aadhaar Pay & Banking (AEPS): Functions as a secure terminal for Aadhaar Enabled Payment Systems (AEPS), merchant point-of-sale processing, and micro-ATM banking.
- Government Portals: Natively compatible with crucial national digital pipelines, including CSC digital services, PM-Kisan authentication, national attendance logging, and Jeevan Pramaan digital life certificates.
